Day 1 – Nairobi → Chogoria Gate → Lake Ellis Camp
Early Morning Departure: Leave Nairobi for Chogoria through Embu.
Arrival & Lunch: Hot lunch/snack before beginning the hike.
Wellness Session: Gentle yoga, breathwork, or mindfulness practice by the lakeside to refresh and acclimatize.
Hike to Lake Ellis: Gradual ascent through Hagenia forest, streams, open glades, and moorlands. Marvel at views of Mugi Hill, Giant Billiard Table, and Nithi Gorge.
Camp Setup: Arrive at Lake Ellis Camp (~3,600 m), enjoy gentle lake strolls and hot dinner.

Overnight: Lake Ellis Camp
Day 2 – Lake Ellis → Mugi Hill → Nithi Falls → Nairobi
Morning: Wake to crisp alpine air and mist lifting over the lake. Optional sunrise hike to Mugi Hill for panoramic Chogoria Valley views.
Nithi Falls Visit: Short detour to admire this stunning waterfall.
Descent: Gradual hike back to Chogoria Forest Station.
Hiking Time: 3–4 hours
Distance: ~7–9 km
Return: Transport back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening.
